Dr. Hill is a professor of counseling and psychology at SUNY New Paltz. She teaches undergraduate courses in the Psychology Department as well graduate classes in the Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling master’s programs. Dr. Hill’s research focuses on diversity issues such as gender, sexuality, and culture and how they relate to power and privilege, sexual objectification, hooking-up experiences, internalization of societal norms, and prejudice. She teaches classes in the Psychology of Women, Psychology of Prejudice, Clinical and Counseling at the undergraduate level; and Multicultural Counseling, Mental Health Counseling Internship, Gender and Counseling and Group Dynamics and Counseling at the graduate level.
